The 2012 London Olympic Games are over, but this may be one Olympics that makes the history books. In addition to the records broken in various competitions on the field, various media outlets are referring to London 2012 as the sexiest games ever. And for those who came just simply to visit the sights, to learn English in London or partake in other innocent activities, avoiding all those sexually charged athletes was worth Olympic gold itself.

News organizations plastered social media with photos of volleyball players’ bums and swimmers’ abs. 150,000 condoms were supplied to the Olympic athletes, US athlete Hope Solo described the scene at the Olympic Village like this, “I’ve seen people having sex right out in the open. On the grass, between buildings, people are getting down and dirty.” Former Olympian, and current reality star, Bruce Jenner had his own opinion on sex at the Olympic Games, “The only way it’s gonna hurt your performance is if you do it during the competition,” he said. “Before and after? It’s fine.”

Let’s take a look at some of the hottest athletes of the summer games and their London hijinks.

Usain Bolt

The lightning fast Jamaican runner not only moves quickly on the track, but he’s a mover off the track as well. He tweeted photos of himself and members of the Swedish female handball team hanging out in his room at Olympic Village. At 3 am, no less. Apparently the ladies convinced Bolt’s coach to take them to his room for an introduction. According to Facebook posts from the girls, they “just talked” but with the hormone-charged atmosphere, can that really be true?

Ally Raisman

The 18 year old US gymnast must have been excited to explore the London club scene, as the legal age in the UK is 18, compared to 21 in the US. However, she may not have been thrilled that her parents were there. She tweeted, “Okay I have no idea were going with the guy gymnasts to some club I’ll find out for you were so nervous. Omg,” which was deleted shortly thereafter.

Ryan Lochte

US swimmer and media darling Ryan Lochte has cut a wide swath through the London party scene. Photos of him with various ladies have plastered the tabloids, and he celebrated his medal wins at Chinawhite. He has publicly stated that he “dates”, but doesn’t have one night stands. Yeah, right.

Gjis Van Hoecke

Belgian cyclist Gjis Van Hoecke may not have won a medal in sport, but he definitely made an impact. The 20 year old was carried out from Mahiki by his friends and literally poured into a taxi. What he did later is open to debate, but considering his state in the tabloid photos, I don’t think he made use of one of those 150,000 condoms.

Stephanie Rice

Australian swimmer Stephanie Rice and US basketball player Kobe Bryant have the rumor mills working overtime. They seem to have spent a lot of time together, and have shared pictures on twitter and Instagram. Mrs. Kobe Bryant must be so proud of her husband’s performance.

Jean Basson

The South African swimmer is proud of his physique. So much that he stripped down at Chinawhite and was escorted out by security. Photos show him leavingalone, but I’m certain he wasn’t alone for very long.

Many people have stated that Olympic-style hook ups are natural and expected when thousands of young people in peak physical condition get together, and the shenanigans at the London Olympics were no exception. It was heaps of fun watching the antics in London, but I have a few words for the next crop of Olympic athletes and the media. Rio de Janeiro 2016.

Now that’s going to be hot.
